September 26 — Steam reviews settle at Mixed
Two days after launch, Steam user reviews stand at Mixed (about 67% positive from roughly 2,400 reviews). Many negative reviews cite PC stutter and crashes. No patch notes have been published yet. See the review roundup.
September 24 — Townfall launches
Silent Hill: Townfall released worldwide on PS5 and PC (Steam and the Epic Games Store) at $49.99, or $59.99 for the Deluxe Edition. Critic reviews landed at 81 on Metacritic. See the release date page.
September 22 — Deluxe Edition early access
Deluxe Edition owners got access 48 hours ahead of launch.
September 16 — Prequel comic The Dock House out digitally
The official tie-in comic, written by game director Jon McKellan, released digitally and in UK print in 2000 AD Prog 2500. US comic stores get it on September 30. See The Dock House.
